Words For Church Anniversary

Tsunami! Numerology

Upon learning of the tsunami in Japan, I remember an anecdote of my father, apparently in 1964 when an earthquake in Alaska launched a potential "tsunami", as he said at the time, and sparked hysteria in Mazatlan because the tsunami would come and kill them all. It turns out that my father and other brothers / uncles were in a bucket, filled it with water and threw it to another brother / uncle, apparently asleep with his mouth open, shouting "Tsunami! ".

How we laughed with that story.

History repeats itself again, Mazatlan lived hysteria of the tsunami, now from Japan, ironically, the same place where he replaced the word "tsunami". The news stories are making me laugh, but now is because people do not know what I find most asshole, if this ...

Reviving the earthquake that hit Alaska in 1964 and caused the exodus of thousands of Mazatlan, many locals decided to go to higher ground yesterday, as Concordia [45 km inland in the foothills of the Sierra Madre Occidental] which is estimated to reach approximately 2 000 mazatlecos that filled the square, the atrium of the church and the streets of the town center, restaurants and shops. [ "Libra Mazatlan alert," Northwest , 12/03/2011 ]

... or this.

09:00 hours before dozens of pedestrians and drivers did stop at the Avenida del Mar, some ask, "What time is the tsunami?" But nobody had an answer. Thus, little by little the boardwalk was fed curious.

Avenue an hour later had more viewers, like few times in Friday morning. Most just stared at the sea slope of the breaking waves, some families arrived by taxi with their children still backpack.

"said the news should not come to the beach, but we want to see a tsunami," said a mother. [ "They come to expect the tsunami," Northwest , 12/03/2011 ]

Thank you, Roland Emmerich! Because only leaning and believing all those messes can expect a tidal wave travel 10 000 miles of ocean without its power being dissipated in the road. It is a basic fact of physics that any energy emission intensity decreases with increasing distance from the source: the famous inverse square law of distance , which applies to sound, light, explosions, radio signals , gravity, and also for earthquakes and tsunamis (not whether the transmission medium is heterogeneous, as you know the defense). Then there are irregularities own the seabed, which slow down the wave, and something called Baja California, which virtually blocks the geodesic between Miyagi and Sinaloa. (Fucking the Ensenada, then.) There is simply no way the same earthquake that struck Sendai and other Japanese cities did the same in the Mexican Pacific.

I think I choose the latter as the more idiots. What the hell were thinking they were the jetty waiting to see a wall of water approaching at full speed? What would they do when the wall was about to come and sweep them off the face of the earth?

And people are supposed to be living from the sea, man.

Where To Get Leafeon In Pokemon Indigo

Properties of materials can be divided into physical, chemical and ecological

1-Physical Properties
Electrical Conductivity
: When electricity can run though the material.
Examples:
Steel is a good conductor
Wood isn't a good conductor

Optical properties :
How materials behave when light touches them
Them can be classified into:
a) Opaque: No light travels through them. e.g wood
b) Transparent: All light travels through them and you can see what's behind the materials. e.g glass of window
c) Translucent: All light can travel through them but you cannot see what's behind them e.g frosted glass

Thermal Conductivity

¿ What is conductor and what is insulator ?

Plastic handles are ...
Metal Body is ...

Thermal conductivity is the ability of the material to conduct heat. e.g. Saucepan. Metal body for thermal conductivity and plastic handles for thermal insulation.
Thermal Insulation = It is a bad Thermal conductor

Dilation and contraction and Fusibility

Dilation: When material expands ( gets bigger ) due to heat
Contraction: When material gets smaller due to heat

To think about: Why are rails separated by a gap?

Fusibility is the ability of a material to change into a liquid when heated to its melting point.
Examples of melting points
Iron´s melting point...........1535 ºC
Copper´s melting point..........1083 ºC
Sound Properties
The ability of materials to conduct sound

To think about. Can you speak on the moon?
Write some examples of good and bad conductors

2 Chemical Properties

Oxidation: The change that occurs to most metals when in contact with air or/and water

3 Ecological Properties

Recyclable. Materials that can be reused
Toxic. Materials which are harmful to the environment
Biodegradable. Materials that decompose naturally with time. eg
An apple take about 20 days to decompose
Plastic takes about 100 years
Glass takes about 400 years

Exercise 2 : Copy into your notebook the properties of transparent, opaque, waterproof, hard, strong and conductor.

What Does The New Arabic Stamp Say

Materials Properties of Materials and Components

Choosing the correct material for any particular task is essential for a manufacturing activity.
Materials are divided into:

  • Raw materials ( natural and artificial ) and
  • Processed materials ( artificial materials )

Natural materials

such as wood or stone exist in nature and we use them as they are. Example of these materials are wood, stone, sand, wool etc
Natural resources are split into 3 categories:

•Animal
•Vegetable
•Mineral

Artificial Materials

Artificial materials or Processed materials are those which have been transformed by man.
For example, iron is a natural material because we obtain it from mines. If we add carbon atoms to the iron, we get steel and steel is stronger that iron with better properties.
Even more, if we also add chrome, we get Stainless steel. It is also called corrosion-resistant steel So stainless steel is an artificial material, although we get iron from nature ( natural material

Exercises 1: Copy in your notebook and Complete the Following table

Numerology is a paradigmatic transhumance, even if it is its most brutal of the basic pattern of methods of divination: the reduction of a vast reality to a few stereotyped meanings. Let me explain.

Supposedly, numerology interprets the world from the numbers assigned to things. However, the numbers themselves are infinite (and they are in ways that most people can not imagine), making them symbols of the really terrible, which is huge and overwhelming, but still finite, or when so it seems. So a significant portion of numerologists cheat: instead of interpreting numbers, interpret the sequences of symbols we use to express them, or the digits, and they do so suitable for memos, because any sequence of digits tends to be reduced to single digits (through the path of least resistance, successive sums). The past, present and future of life and the world expressed miserable nine symbols. And they say that science is reductionist.

Despite its pint of accuracy and "science" of numerology is entirely coincidental. Not only the hours, calendars, measures, writing systems and conversions between letters and digits / numbers vary between different cultures. It also changes the numbering system, which gives the coup de grace to numerology, or should pass. The most common system is by far the decimal, based on 10, but used a vigesimal Mesoamerica, based on 20, and Mesopotamia used a sexagesimal system, based on the 60, which survives today in the clocks, GPS receivers and astrology. Even if everything else was equal, numerologists Maya or Assyrians have completely different results obtained with modern numerologists, nothing extra to use a different amount symbols. Something that changes radically depending on where and when you can not have great cosmic significance.

If one thinks about how complicated it can be astrology and that is a true science not so much about numbers but about their properties and relationships, the real mystery about numerology is his gross and sloppy simplicity to be limited to a handful of characters and integers. A numerologist with math and unscrupulous hobbies could create a method with nothing but endless divinatory meanings assigned uyuyuyantes (and invented, of course) to things such as that there are numbers that are powers of others, or forming part of a sequence (where are the numerological treated on the Fibonacci series?), or together with common properties (such as the Pythagorean triads, although it may itself be a treatise on that.) Will the properties, functions and relationships between numbers are infinite, like the same numbers, and if not infinite are of little use. Maybe it's better that way: it must be painful to see talent wasted size mystical bullshit.

All this digression is to share a curiosity of those who will never see in the treaties of numerology:

2011 is a prime number.

What does that mean? Like numerology, nothing, of course. So I wish you a happy new year, and as the Cosmos is not going to tell you how, take advantage as best he can and will.
